Here are 10 tips to help achieve a good nights sleep.

  1. Wind down before going to bed. Avoid watching the TV or using the computer for at least 1 hour before going to sleep.
  2. Keep strenous exercise well away from bedtime.
  3. Sleep in a completely dark room.
  4. Keep the bedroom cool.
  5. Keep electrical goods to a  minimum in the bedroom, which includes computers and TVs.
  6. Make sure of getting enough sleep on a regular basis.  Skipping on sleep leads to over tiredness and increased stress both of which worsen sleep quality.
  7. If taking a nap in the day, do not nap for longer than 20 minutes.
  8. Take a high quality magnesium such as the unique Poliquin Ubermag. ((I do supply Ubermag.)) Shortage of magnesium leads to poor sleep.
  9. If regularly waking for any reason, including the need to empty the bladder, this means the body has issues such as pain or inflammation that need addressing.  It is one of the many ways the body talks to us.  We are not programmed to wet the bed, so can get through the night without needing to pee.
  10. Make sure of eating enough to avoid hunger waking us up, and, conversely, avoid eating a large meal within a couple of hours of going to bed.

    1. Hi, Liz. I hadn’t realised you wanted Ubermag plus. I only have Ubermag in stock. They have just updated Ubermag Plus and I can get some when I next put in an order, which will be within the next couple of weeks. However, you could try starting with Ubermag and see how you go. It is a bit cheaper – £21.25 for 90 capsules. I recommend starting with 1 with breakfast and slowly building up the dose. Let me know what you think.
