  1. Claire I have read your article about Ubermag and would like to give it a try. Do can I purchase this?

    Thanks

    Andrea Faircloth

    1. I certainly do. At the moment, I take a 5.30pm class, Tuesdays, in Lord Butler Leisure Centre, Saffron Walden; a 10.30am class, Wednesdays, at Grange Paddocks Leisure and an 11.15am Sundays, again at Lord Butler. You do not need to be a member of either Leisure Centre and can just pay at the door. However, it is worth checking with the centre that the class isn’t fully booked.

  2. Hi just wondering why you recommend stopping gluten/wheat to exercise effectively? This is all new to me. Many thanks, Liz.

  3. Clare,
Is there any way we can remove Ben from Body Balance. There are many of us that feel uncomfortable with him at the back of the class.
    Hope you can help..
    Thanks

    1. Hi, Mohammed. You can buy it from me. Poliquin now do two different ones: zinc carnosine, called Primal Digest, and the other GI Quell. GI Quell has zinc carnosine plus slippery elm extract and active aloe vera, here is a link to the site: http://main.poliquinstore.com/gi-qwell/. Now zinc carnosine is expensive. Primal Digest costs: £34 and you chew the pill before each meal. GI Quell costs a whopping £45. Post not included.

      1. I can’t seem to find GI Quell on the EU version of that website, is there something obvious I’m missing or is it not available anymore?

        1. Hi, Bob. I sell GI Qwell, but I import all my Poliquin supplements from the States because there is a wider choice and the supplements for the EU are watered down to comply with as many EU rules as possible. So it may not be possible to buy GI Qwell on the European site. I sell GI Qwell for £42.50 for 60 capsules plus £4.40 signed for post, assuming you live in the UK. It’s expensive, but zinc carnosine is. Thank you for your question. Clare.

    1. Oh dear. Good question. I’m told I should put a link on my facebook page – my facebook page – ha ha ha. The only thing on there is rude stuff. Oh dear. Anyway, I’ll look into it. I realise I probably know a man wot nose the answer to this question.

    1. Hi Jacqueline. You certainly can order Restorem from me. I am just out of stock, but have to put an order in. I’ve been putting it off because of the bouncing pound – but I think it’s only going to get worse now. Restorem will cost £27 a pot plus £4.45 signed for postage. I take payment directly into my bank account, it helps keep costs down. If you are interested in getting some from me, let me know ASAP and I’ll order you some.
      Thank you,
      Clare.

  4. Hi Claire,
Looking to purchase a few Polyquin products from you but couldn’t find out how to do it online? I’m interested in purchasing: Wind down, UberMag Plus, Uber Zinc, CoQ10 and Bone Matrix.

I need Vitamin k as well do you have that? Thx!

    Regards,
    Mia

    1. Hi Mia,
You get the Poliquin products from me just as you have done – by contacting me. At the moment I have Ubermag plus and Uberzinc in stock, but not WindDown, CoQ10 or Bone Matrix – which is a bit pathetic I realise. I do have Serenity in stock, which is another very effective natural calming product.

As for Vitamin K, Poliquin now have a new product called ADEK, which is a combination of those 4 vitamins. It costs £32 for 120 capsules and they recommend taking 4 a day.

I shall be putting in an order in about 2 weeks time. If you want me to order you some Bone Matrix, CoQ10, Wind Down and maybe ADEK, let me know. Contact me through my e mail address eclareharding53@hotmail.com

      Thank you.

      Clare.

  5. Hi Clare

I deliver training and often refer to your website section on men and risk taking. Really interesting stuff. Do you have a reference regarding the RAS being sleepier in men? I am writing my first book and I would like to reference this information and I’m hoping if you could point me in the direction of the source that states the RAS on sleepier in men. I have searched all over the internet and I can only find what you mention on your website. Hope you can help.
    Many Thanks
    Phil

    1. Hi Phil, I got the basis for the information from a course I attended given by Anne Moir in male/female brain differences. Her book is called ‘Why men don’t iron’ -also there are other books on male/female brain differences. I would add now that knowledge has moved on and why males are more aggressive/take more risks is extremely complicated and hugely mixed up with deeply ingrained expectations and behaviour. Were I to try to research more about male risk taking and the RAS, I’d start by looking up the RAS and pituitary hormones and the hypothalamus. After all, risk taking is hugely linked to dopamine. Hope this helps.

      Clare.

      1. Thanks Clare

I think I will reference your website when I write the chapter and I will also buy the book that you have highlighted.

        Many Thanks
        Phil

  6. Hi. My friend goes to your class in Manuden. I was wondering if you run other classes during the day at other locations.
    Many thanks

  7. Hi Clare
I have just started on HRT patches. One of my symptoms of the menopause is a lack of energy due to No or very little sleep. Also the usual mid riff weight gain not matter what exercise i do. I have read up and been told about your Magnesium Supplements. Could you advise which ones to go with please?
    Many Thanks
    Lucy

    1. Hi Lucy,
Sorry for the late reply. The comment slipped through the net! Yes, it is definitely worth trying the Poliquin Ubermag, which you can get from me. It won’t completely cure the problem, but it will really help. And magnesium is also known as the mineral of the menopause.. Ubermag costs £24.50 for a pot of 90, plus £4.85 first class signed for postage. Contact me by email: eclareharding53@hotmail.com and if you are interested, we’ll sort out payment etc.
