I will definitely be teaching Body Balance in Manuden village hall; CM23 1EH.  The class times will be

Monday 9.15 – 10.15 am

Tuesday 2 – 3 pm

Thursday 6 – 7 pm

In the second two weeks of July (beginning 9.15am, Monday 11th July), I will run trial classes at these times.  They will be free, but will be introductory classes, so there will be a lot of stopping and starting to explain moves and variations to avoid injury.  Nevertheless, all are welcome to come along.

The classes will start properly the week beginning 12th September 2016.  From there on, it will be business as usual.  The classes will cost £8 for one off classes and £7 for a bunch of five.

Although there will be some yoga mats available, it will be much better to bring your own.  After all, you know your own feet; do your feet want to know the bacteria and diseases of someone elses’?

I am very much looking forwards to teaching body balance again. Whilst I’ve been away, I’ve learnt loads of new stuff, so now know even more astonishing things to do to reduce pain and improve movement.  Some of this I will be able to get into the class.

I’m also looking forwards to the class being fully in control of how it goes; we answer to ourselves and not the latest gym manager.  I will be keeping up to date with the latest releases, so we won’t get bored or complacent.

I think it will be a lot of fun.

  1. Hi clare is it ok to just turn up with a friend on Thursday for the trial session 6-7 or shall I phone & book in , thanks

    1. It will be fine for you and your friend to just turn up on Thursday for the trial Body Balance. I look forwards to seeing you there and hope you really enjoy the class! If you have yoga mats, do bring them. Otherwise there will be some there you can use – the hall has 5 and I have 6.

  2. Hi Clare

Are your body balance classes still running in Manuden? I also used to go to your combat class every Sunday at Lord Butler, do you run them anywhere else as they were brilliant!?

    1. Adele. Good to hear from you. My Body Balance classes are deffo running in Manuden. Monday 9.15am, Tuesday 2pm – but from 1st Nov Tuesday class will be at 1.30pm and on Thursday evenings 6.45pm (except for Thurs 27th. That class will be on the previous Tuesday – 25th – at 6.55pm). As I work my way into the latest release, it’s getting a bit riotous. Now as for Combat – well, now I’ve broken out of the gym, I have to pay les Mills eye watering amounts of money for each type of class I take, so I thought I’d start with Balance and see how that did before venturing back into Combat. But I am missing the sheer energy and deep silliness that Combat always inspired. Hope you brave the trip to darkest Manuden to meet my version of the lastest release of Balance! The village hall is astoundingly beautiful. And has underfloor heating in the winter….

      1. That’s great to hear – I’m only in Rickling so you will definitely see me at Body Balance 🙂 And I very much look forward joining Combat and finding my inner ninja again, if you do decide to do it again!!

        See you soon
        Adele
